Supporting the MDS
CareTracker eliminates the copying, missed assessments, and inaccuracies associated with paper documentation. As a result MDSs are more accurate, reimbursement reflects actual care, and surveys go much smoother. The most common ways CareTracker helps support the MDS are below.
Identify Significant Changes
CareTracker Clinical Intelligence analyzes ADL observations and highlights residents that are experiencing significant changes. One click opens an interactive viewer that shows you the data that you need.
Find the Best Assessment Reference Date
CareTracker's ARD Analysis Report summarizes and formats the data from the primary sections that affect your RUGs and CMI.
Activities of Daily Living
The visual prompts on the CareTracker kiosks help employees make accurate and timely assessments, and the system takes care of the coding. The result is more accurate assessments and more accurate reimbursement.
Moods and Behaviors
CareTracker asks caregivers to make observations every shift, every day, so that there will always be accurate information for Section E when it's time to complete an MDS. Also, every observation is stamped with the time, date, and name of the caregiver, so it's easy to trend when behaviors are occurring.
